At Hebrews 13:1-22 And Revelation 15:5

[after Psalms 120-134, Hebrews 13:1-22 and Revelation 15:5]

We Christians, also, have a holy temple,
an altar dedicated to our Lord;
a place of spiritual pilgrimage and worship,
of fellowship and rest---all in accord
with true Salvation.  In that sacred shelter,
we need not fear the world, brim-full with sin:
it cannot reach the remnant congregation
who are already saved and born again.
In our degrees of holiness, established
among the Bible's old paths and good ways,
we bring our offerings there---the good we have done;
communication; sacrifice of praise.
On Patmos, Brother John beheld that temple
after the glorious dawn of that Lord's Day.
And that we may share some part of his vision . . .

let us---my Christian brethren---surely pray.

Starward
