I never should have tired

I never should have told myself

You never would have lied

From the moment that we met

I really never stood a chance

You were lookin out for you

And I was lookin for romance



So now I run

I hide

I wanna get away

I try to just forget

But it gets harder everyday

Each time I think I’m over you

I’m forced to realize

That I’m always gonna love you
