The Stranger A Friend

I am not your neighbor,

Nor am I your sister.

I am the person you take for granted.

Even never speak to nor offer a ride,

Through all of these emotions I desire your attention.

I observed you in my imagination,

Although our eyes have yet to dance by candle light.

You are an inspiration to others with low self esteem,

Others strive to obtain some of your achievements.

Insanity would be the reason for her departure.

Anxiously, I await to see if this will progress.

Into something, a conversation, something more than a brief stare.

I can imagine that if we were to converse momentarily,

It would seem as if it were an eternity.

It's evident that I have been entangled.

Entangled in thought about what you may ask.

Several things are my response,

But the utmost is the barrier between us.

The communication barrier, that could be dismantled if,

If you would not be so cautious and would approach the stranger.
