We were twins in the worlds eyes,
He knew me and I knew him.
To each other we never could lie,
For too long we were still best friends.
When one is had a problem,
We came to one another.
We never left each others side,
In one form or another.
No one could separate us,
Until that crazy and ugly day.
Jesus made a great decision,
To take you to a better place far away.
I never understood why he took,
Took my only true best friend away.
Now I do realize something,
We will be together some day.
