He saved me from a life of hatred,

A hatred I no longer feel.

I only knew that he loved me,

And through his love I healed.



He is the father that I could have never had,

But his love for me came shining.

For one minute I never felt sad,

For I had a god sent finding.



I thank and praise my lord Jesus,

Thanks for sending him my way,

Because his love and kindness,

Without it I wouldn't exist today.



Precious father I could have never had,

My love shall never end for you any day.

Forever my gratitude and appreciation,

For you getting me through each and every day.
