Life's Small Awards

Large things never meant so much,

Meanings of just simple living.

A butterfly fluttering with color,

Just one of life's small awards.

Watching a beautiful smile on my mans face,

Comforts me to know that of his happiness.

Learning something new without effort,

Makes me shiver with great curiosity.

Listen to him call me baby and say "I Love You",

Fills my heart with hope of true love.

Being able to see all colors and wonders of the world,

Make certain of me one day exploring.

Watching flowers bloom in the Spring,

Proves to me that I can always start over.

Struggling to do and be my best on my own,

Allows me to know I will always help myself.

Sometimes being alive to watch seasons change,

Gives a new meaning of my ability to do also.

Nothing means more to me,

More than life's small awards.
