Family is the security that has developed you into everything that you have become. Family is all around you and makes up who you are, who you?ve been, and who you will become. Family is ?Your Parents?- it?s your Mom and Dad; the people that have loved you forever no matter what, have never given up on you regardless the number of times that you?ve messed up or failed. It?s a Dad that has been a mentor, father, teacher, & best friend all rolled into one; it?s a Mom who has never stopped worrying, always cared, and given more of herself than any person ever should have. Family is having parents that have always put your wants and needs above their own; it?s having a Mom and a Dad that love you enough to yell at you but also make you feel that you could do or be anything that you could ever begin to dream or imagine. Family is ?My Parents?- the people in my life that have made me into the person I am today and are the foundation of the person I aspire to become in the future. Family is ?Your Siblings?- it?s your brothers and your sisters; the people who are your best friends, closest confidants, and worst enemies all at once; the people who are there for you despite the circumstances, even if it is just to be an ?ear? for you to spill your problems to. It?s a Baby Sister that has listened to your deepest confessions and likewise shared hers, fought with you to the death, cried on your shoulder and let you cry on hers, laughed at you when your being stupid and with you when your being funny; a sister that has stuck with you through it all, always coming back for more- be it abuse, scrutiny, love, or counseling. Family is ?My Baby Sister?- my most prominent & major source of inspiration, a person who is without question my best friend, closet confidant, and probably the most important person in my life; it?s my sister who is always on my side & there for me every time, she always has been and always will be. Family is ?Your Relatives?- it?s your God-Parents, Grandmother, and Aunts & Uncles; the people that have been there caring for you since the beginning even though they didn?t have to; it?s people who are seemingly in your life just to listen, be there, and help you in way that they can. Family is ?My God-Parents,?- people invite you into their home and make you part of their family; people that love as if you were their own son. It?s ?Uncle Billy?- a guy that I respect more than words could begin to express and who has always returned the same courtesy to me whether I deserved it or not. It?s ?Auntie Pam?- a person that has been like a second mother to me making me the son she never had and in doing so raised me to heights I had never before imagined. Family is ?My Grandma?- the woman who has always put me and everyone else above herself because it?s just her way; the person who is without question the cornerstone this family- the glue holding us all together no matter how far apart we are. Family is ?My Uncles?- People that have been present throughout my entire life; always there for me be it just to throw around a ball, to run and toss me in the pool, or to hang out with me and listen to all my problems; guys that went way beyond their job description and treated me like a nephew, and more importantly a friend- always making feel like I could take on the world. Family is ?My Entire Family?- My Auntie Pam & Uncle Billy, My Grandma, and My Uncle Mike & Uncle Mark; People that have made me feel like I?m worth something, that have given me the tools to achieve success, that have loved me no matter what, that have accepted me as I am and always try to help me so that I can be better. Family is ?Your Boys?- your best and most loyal friends, guys that you?ve shared every moment with- the good and the bad, guys who are in all of your memories- the ones you want to forget and the ones that will last forever; the guys that have been with you for every major experience in your entire life, the guys that have been there for it all. Family is ?My Boys?- guys that have taken me into their family and me apart of it, whom I have likewise done the same for; my best and most loyal friends whom I would give my own life to protect and whom I know would do the same for me without hesitation; the people who be it by blood or by bond are truly my brothers, because with them there is no distinction made between blood or bond.



So let me stress this: I Love You Mom and Dad- Thank You for caring about me enough to yell at me, lecture me, cry with me, laugh with me, smile with me and always standing behind me being in my corner; thank you for who I am today and who I will be in the future... I Love You Jennifer- Thank You for being a true friend and confidant and for always being there for every smile, tear, laugh, wink, problem, and story even though you didn?t have to be? I Love My Entire Family, All of You- Thank You for helping to guide me through my life, always caring about me, and always being there? And finally, I Love My Boys, All of You- Thank You for all the times & memories- the good and the bad, and all the memories the ones we wish could be forgotten and the ones we know could never be forgotten; thanks for being there, always standing in my corner, and always getting my back?



You know, you learn a lot of new things in college; yet, the things that you?ll find to truly mean the most in life, the things you will undoubtedly learn to be the most important, are in fact, the things that you've always known- but are just now beginning to realize. It?s then that you?re able to sit back, look at yourself and your life and say, ?Wow life really 'isn?t that bad??
