the soldier was called
to go to Iraq
he fought proudly
for he loved his country
he thought of his family
and friends back at home
nobody knew how far he would go
would he last?
nobody knew
he was eating lunch
and the bomb blew
he ran from the mess hall
another soldier in hand
his partner couldn't walk
he was wounded pretty bad
the soldiers ran fo cover
many killed and badly injured
but they both made it alive
one saved another's life
the soldier was called
to go to iraq
a soldier was called
vut a hero came back
