I feel them around me
As I'm alone in the dark
Haunted for life
By their tainted spark
Some think me crazy
Perhaps that is so
So I sit here forever
Wondering where should I go
Some try to guide me
Should I just ride the wave?
Never to surrender
I'll not be their slave
I've tasted their power
Been corrupted within
But I chose to fight it
Let a new war begin
Whispers in darkness
A thin wretched vail
Continued resistance
They begin to assail
Preparing for battle
I sharpen my blade
I know they're coming
I know they'll invade
Standing beside me
Is a select few
Those who can feel it
Who feels what I do
Supporting our actions
however so slight
Armed to the teeth
We prepare for the fight
Inward they rush
Dark powers so strong
Yet so familiar
It doesn't seem wrong
