. . . now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer
than when we believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand . . .
---Romans 13:11-12
[after LXX Genesis 32:28 and 41:45; and LXX 2nd Samuel 12:25]
I woke a little before dawn, and that still, small voice, said "'Starwatcher'
"was given you so that their playground bullying did not further botch your
"confidence." I praise Christ the Bright and Morning Star, Whose Word I read
and love. By Christ I have been blessed with a new appellation . . . Januaried:
There, even the frequently bullied and verbally abused "Fairy Jerry" finds safe shelter
from those years' (and their imposed memories') bullying and its vulgar welter.
And, in this gift from Christ, this gladly jubilant Christian identity,
I find the renewed resources of poetry.
