+ 9TH POEMS: On Westward I-70, Tuesday Evening (Dusk) November 23rd, 1976, 1

Great joy to escape that place, and return home.  Yet I feared the compromise

of Starwatcher, my identity then.  But, none too soon I was blessed to realize

that the handle had been held and protected for me:  it was not stolen or attacked;

made safe in BlueShift's love.  My return was complete, and nothing lacked.

Author's Notes/Comments:

There had never, really, been a reason to fear.  During my absence (which began Thursday, September ninth, 1976), BlueShift's love stood in for me, and made very sure that the one attempt to steal the handle was "dead-keyed" until the thief withdrew from channel 22.
