+ 9TH POEMS: Тропарь At LXX Psalm 111:7

Evil tidings shall not terrify us.

Malign reports shall not degrade our Faith.

For we have heard, and have accepted the joyous

proclamation of the Gospel; and, believing through, in and

upon the Holy Words and Promises of Christ, we have Life in His Name.

Sin and its wages, death and the grave,, have been trampled and

struck down by Christ Himself, Who loved us and gave

Himself for us that, believing, we shall have eternal

life; a peculiar people He has gathered to Himself.

Thus redeemed we shall worship Him in His revealed

Glory, for ever and ever, and unto ages of ages.
