Yet [*/+/^] : 27.225 MHz, Some Final Measures; Reasons Of The Hope, A Poem After 1 Peter 3:15

We stumble and limp through this world, and its swamps lurches

(of our own making); but the Faith of close-believing chuches

sustains us.  Believing we receive, by spiritual appropriation,

Christ's offered gift and assurance of eternal Salvation,

of life, forever, with Him in His Kingdom, and its jubilation.

Neither the wounds inflicted by sin, nor harrassing temptation,

can wrest this from us.  We pray, and hold the Faith, and act:

and that for which we have rejoiced, or have been weeping,

is known to the Lord:  His Grace and Will are keeping

the people He has redeemed together; each and every soul

is healed, and nourished, and maintained intact:

no longer a fractured heap of dead shards, but alive and intact.

His Gospel is our souls' chiefest exultation.

These are our hope's reason, given verbal demonstration.
