The Lord has, in this time of my life, shown to me
that my Holiday break, in 1976---December---
was a parable, pattern, and foretaste to remember:
unlike, a finite buffet's singular samples,
it is an array of the best of life's examples
to be received without doubt's perfidy;
to be received as a vivifying spirituality,
founded upon a close-believing Christianity,
and the generator of my final poetry.

Author's Notes/Comments:
The experiences, joys, and lessons learned during my first collegiate Holiday break, which ran from about 8pm on Tuesday, November 23rd through about 2pm on Sunday, January 2nd, 1977, were not meant as simply pleasant memories, as I have so long, and so mistakenly, believed. God has shown me, now, at this late (and presumably last) stage of my life, to interpret that period not as a remembered time, but as a pattern of how to behave as I prepare for my departure from this planet and into Christ's Presence in His Eternity.
This reminder is contained, along with some other personal aspects, in my screen name.
Just as my first handle and appellation, Statwatcher, had been protected for me during my absence from it (Thursday, September 9th through Tuesday, November 2rd, 1976), the final appellation, Starward has been preserved and protected for me (and even hidden from me) until I have become ready to receive, embrace, and appreciate it.
