i don't know where to start
i don't know where to begin
we could star ton the outside
but we'll end up within
she stole my heart within seconds
and with that I'd never complain
just the horrible truths of love
will always drive me inside
for a moment in time she was mine
as we slowly walked down the line
her eyes shinning brighter than ever
her cheeks so soft and warm
and after this quick stroll down the ally
we'd so soon be home
her hand within my palm
i could live there forever
and when i asked her when she'd leave me
she always told me never
the nights when her lips touched mine
the days when she was in my arms
and when she was around i thought life didn't exist
and there was no such thing as harms
never fell a tear from her eyes
because her eyes belonged to me
and her eyes would never shed a tear
for as long as she could see
hurt her i would never do
I'd take my life before then
but in my heart i never knew
that hers was to end then
but before anything was noticed
her laugh echoes in my brain
her smile never went in vain
and we danced in the street
the cold dark ally
and when i touched her skin
i could never be so happy
and our dance without music
our music without a dance
I'd kiss her cheek everytime
i was given the chance
and her giggles continued to roll
and i gave my darling a dip
and suddenly the laughter stopped
was it something i did?
all her strength was gone
and her balance belonged to me
gasping for breath
i saw the pain in her face
not a word left in her throat
her face covered in liquid clear lace
i dare not ask her what was wrong
this wasn't the place
and in that moment something inside died
when i knew i couldn't help
so i held her tight, as i knew she wanted
and she saved me from myself
slowly the warm left her cheek
and i was soon left alone and meek
though no voice to speak a word
in my ears she breathed
i loved you from the moment i saw you
and you're all I'll ever need
for the first time in my life
a tear ran down my face
and she was gone from that place
that place of pain
and all that was left in my arms
was my lady without a dance
and i pray above she took my love with her
because there's no happiness left within
and though my love for her has never ended
i can only tell you where it will begin
my heart was hers when she left
and it'll be hers when i return
for the rest of my days
alone on the dance floor
and for my beautiful lady.. i yearn
