I'm lost lately

I'm not sure if I'm being pulled away

or pulled back

I've been tossed lately

to the side and been hung on the rack

I've been scared lately

to walk away from what hurts me

I never dared lately

to try to understand what's wrong

I haven't tried lately

to finally move along

I'm too frightened to go

I'm too saddened to stay

and there's no one strong enough

for me - lead the way
