Your House

i open the door to my final fate

a place to understand

with words of hope to bring me back

i once have ruled this land

i bare gifts and stories

from lands so very far

about a girl in a growing garden

and a twinkle with a star

to share them with you would take time

required you hear me now

ive always spoke these magic words

but hear them you knew not how

in your kingdom; portraits

of hearts broken in distrust

taken. a vision of secrecy

in a betrayal ending with lust

your bedroom is a wonderland

of stories from many worlds

people tell them in different ways

older men to younger girls

your hallway has led to many places

worlds too far to reach

to an ally way of sinners

or a church in which they preach

your patio has no awning

to directly block the rain

to prove its the tears that cant be held

when releasing all the pain

your house is a place of misunderstandings

where the unopened minds dont belong

listen to me, this place isn't a maze

even though i've been here way too long.
