upon reading a book
i read books about characters
who know all about movies, books, or music
and sometimes
i want to be like those characters
knowing all about one thing or another
wouldn't that be impressive?
wouldn't everyone want to talk to me then?
yet
i am none of those interesting characters
nor probably ever will be
and yet everything i say
is interesting and fascinating to you
why is that?
