i don't care so much about your alligator shirt or plaid shoes

but the way that you make me laugh

the way we are so different

that i tend to wonder if we are alike at all

i don't care so much that i don't mean much to you

but the way that i feel when i hear your voice, or see your face

makes these unanswered questions worth it
