and it's cold out
i'm at a family christmas party
and i find myself standing against a door frame looking out a window
and you know how when it's cold outside, but warm inside
the windows get this sort of frost around their edges?
that's what it looked like
and it's 19 degrees here
and probably 80 there
but i look outside
and it's cold
and i'm glad i'm inside
but i think of you
that far away
and miss you
and i wonder
when you're there
seeing family and friends and laying in the sun
do you think of me?
