how do you feel alone
in a room so full of people
you can hardly breathe
i sat watching the scene
one i used to be in
it hurts me to watch
and i find myself back there again
when it was exciting, happy, secretive
no more
all i am now is the onlooker
having no part, just wishing
i could have that for one second again
