To end as gracefully

As the knowing

Questioned by those who understand

Won as solemn

Will shadowing

That which blinds us

Dimming gods for focus

In order to hold

Aye, remembered

Aye, fallacy of strength

Feeding the forgotten

A stone thrown upon the mound of once

But a marker for my cemetery

The yard of stood

No name shall you carve

Nor time

Please disregard place

For I call not to peace in death

I pray not for rest

Spread me upon the world

So that I can touch all that I missed

The sun itself

Cannot rise against a love as strong as I have found

Breathe me in as you wake

Aye, to become the air

Life

Be that my death

The legacy I leave

Choke upon me on cold days

Curse me in the rain

Allow me to cool you

Tickle your face

Let me dance among leaves

Wings flapping against me

In order to find a glide

Allow me

Regardless of temperature

To be breath

In my death
