A Hand Much Bigger

Holding a pinky
From a hand much bigger than my own
Walking in circles
Trying to find my way around
Everything is a blurr
Not allowing me to see the bigger picture
How could this be the right choice?
I hate you but I love you
This is like a bad fairy tail
That will never end
My life had been altered
By one fateful night
I love you, but I hate you
Still holding a pinky
From a hand much bigger than my own
Tears washing away all of my sorrow
Allowing my to see what I could not before
The choices were made, decisions were sealed
I have closed the book, and started anew
Don't get me wrong I"m still fond of you
But if I wasn't able to do what I wanted
The shackles would never be broken
And memories forgiven
I'm looking at the person whose hand I'm
Holding a pinky
From a hand much bigger than my own
And I realize this is the right choice
