The start of new, the loss of one
From daylight into darkness come
From open doors to closed off wall
A start afresh, for one, for all
Our minds were wide, open wounds
Fresh on our scalp like morning's dew
But that was then and this is now
Where to go? What and How?
Through time and space we move so fast
Those feelings soon, were gone, were past
Now you find us stood beside
At the end with open mind
The year has come, the year has gone
Good times and bad, for all, for one
Step off the edge in to the night
And hope next year is filled with light
