Mine Eyes





Too much pain mine eyes have seen

Emblazoned white upon my dreams

To haunt me here forever more

Where darknesses peace is now wished for



And when I close them shut at night

They hum behind mine eyes of white

And drive me mad with things I did see

Standing over with blade is me



I cut them out with words of steel

And draw the blood of the pain i feel

Till nothing left in my head of sleep

I slumber fast, I slumber deep



And that is how you find me here

Infractus corpus with no more fear

And all because mine eyes did see

Far too much, than was meant for me
