Too Judgmental: Influenced by Nichole

People suck. This is the conclusion I have come to. Throughout my entire life, I’ve always had someone picking on me for no apparent reason, whether it be because of something they’ve created in their minds or something true, but no matter what it is, these people just do not know me, they don’t know my person, and I see that they have no right to judge me, in the way they do. These people that don’t like anyone that's different from them; they don’t like someone if they have their own style, especially if it is so severely different from the norm.

Our world is so screwed up with no one understanding anyone else, people getting judged constantly because they are different, or people resorting to killing in order to keep everything the same. The latter is by far the worst, but the others are what everyone goes through on a day-to-day basis. True that, a lot of people are getting killed presently but in places where there is no killing, I see it all as just a heap of condescending behavior. No one is ever good enough, no one could ever measure up to you, and to the bubble you’ve so conveniently surrounded yourself by. This bubble is what keeps people from understanding one another, it keeps people apart, and communities apart, and families apart. No one is together anymore, no one even makes the slightest effort to understand others, and they just take what they see as not themselves and dismiss them as freaks. Freak, what kind of word is that? What is it supposed to mean? I think everyone has a different way of looking at life and we should respect that. A freak is no more than just someone with a different way of looking at things. These things could be a variety of different ideas.

They could be as large as life or as tiny as what it is that scientists study. In the olden days, when God’s creation of earth was the only theory of how the world was made and how the different animals came to be here, Darwin was considered a freak. His ideas were so radical that no one wanted to believe them, and those that did, didn’t think they could. The Christians were continuously against the idea of evolution and still remain that way. If you look at evolution vs. God’s creation today, evolution is now more widely accepted. But religion and science isn’t the only place we’ve had people be seen as freaks for being different.

It can be seen it the 1500’s or later, especially during the Salem Witch Trials. Now perhaps some of these women were witches, but not all. It was because they were different. Apparently, being different back then, it was a crime, completely unheard of. It was just not acceptable. Women were getting burned alive, for their way of life. They were being drowned as a way of checking if they were a witch or not. If she were to survive, then she was truly a witch. But, if she died, then I guess there was a mistake and this woman was not a witch, oops… next case please.

You can pick out any place in history, and I bet there is something that happened that excluded one group of people, for nothing at all. This nothing would be their way of life, and that is nothing.
