When I was just a tad
Filling my heart with joy
Making me so glad
He opened my eyes
To wonders unseen
Replacing hate with love
No more to be mean
He saved me from oblivion
He lifted my voice in praise
Singing the love of the son
Each and every day
He is the redeemer
The hope of mankind
He is the teacher
Who turned the water to wine
He is the Lamb of God
Sent to save our souls
His sacrifice for our sins
Cleanses us and makes us whole.
Believe and be saved
Is easy enough to do
Repent of your sins to him
And he will forgive you
Lord, I am but a sinner
Not following in your ways
I pray for you cleansing blood
To take my sins away.
Make my soul white as snow
Use me like you did Saul
Guide me where I should go
Give me utterance as Paul.
I put my life in your hands
Precious Lord, lead me on
Whether here or foreign lands,
Help me repair all I have done.
In your Holy Name I pray,
Make it so today.
