Reality/
About to shed a tear, leaving behind a trail of unsavory essence upon my lips
Going to walk away from the ever changing world of love, to enter a night of loneliness
To behold the emptiness of darkness to understand the voices of the unreal
So I may die a lifeless heartache slowly and into eternity, for love has been denied
Sweet whispers cry into the emptiness of my soul, reaching deeply into the nothingness
Do not go where you are not wanted and forget where you have been, leave me to be
I cherished so many evenings together alone and loved, speaking for ever until we fell
Listening to you breathe and just wonder what you thought, in love with who you were
I now dream of you, often stories unfold in my memories of how I felt, a reminder of you
Telling me what I knew back then and still feel now, a future torn from existence
Our destiny no more, our passages stricken from the book, we no longer have a union
As I walk through the life I have chosen to follow I walk alone and in disarray
Lean to the side of a darker image, grasping onto thoughts of newer wisdom
Forgetting what you have been taught to learn of a new way method to mayhems law
Reach out to the one you believed cared, but fall away from grace as you turn your eye
Strain your voice as you yell out for the help you so desperately need, no one hears
Ages pass as we continue to dwindle what we have, a fearsome destiny to fall upon us
Time flies as we rush to the end of our life, we have nothing to show but stories of past
A delay for the end as we stop to smell on roses of sweeter days, we see a glimpse
A touch of what we may have had, but lost for it was not ours, we lean back into reality
