Lonely Heart'

I sit and wonder of words spoken, not knowing why reality such a bitter taste it has

Listening to what was said and hurting from within, words creeping inside my mentals

Loneliness strikes me a secondary pain, torture from that of the broken hearted

A restless soul determined to win the love of one, a timeless passion for her care

You see within my world I see the reality, I know you care and want

But under the torment and the battering we find your fight, a mislead feeling

You find yourself taken by a man good inside, but shattered by the blinded eye

Hidden are the layers that spark that love, the truth that leads you to him

Search long and hard for that which you have is good, the eye spoils the true beauty

We stand at the line where life begins; to choose and cross is the ordeal

Lonely nights we spend thinking of one another, days end with sorrow

We have given so much and wanted a special bond, and yielded neither

Alone I stare at the stars as I did when we spoke, I see the same light but different fire

We have changed our nature of being, over whelmed by the longing of our souls

Thoughts provoke our hearts, wondering if what we want is really there

Wishing the look would be that of a sensual breeze against the cheek, new embodiment

Try and see passed that which you hate so much, look deep within to find what you seek

A life would be that of lost if not for wisdom, knowledge to know we are meant to be

I may not be a man whole of the wishes you want, but a man with all to offer

Take this, which is all I have, a heart broken but full of love, one day you’ll understand
