A VEIL IN TIME

A certain face
lies in the
shadows of
yesterday.

Once so alive
real,
energetic,
sweet and
caring.

Tears cried in
the night
a pillow damp
with moisture.

A name blowing
in the wind
whispering
softly
I love you.

Now a memory
resting behind
a veil in time.
