BEFORE HER EYES

Folder:
POEMS FOR MY BOOK

The
weeping
willow
stands
silently
at the
waters edge.

Watching
reflections
reoccuring
over and
over again.

Once she
wore
ribbons
in her
hair, a
signature
of youth.

Now
leaning
over she
discovers
the remains
of yesterday.

Forever
displaying
themselves
before
her eyes
in the waters.
