It stormed last night
lightening penetrated
the eastern skies
like a lazer beam
the night was ablaze.

Valleys stood in
teardrops
gutters overflowed
A pair of swollen eyes
remained.

The thunder roared
calling my attention
to the elements
reminding me of a
terrible nightmare
something went wrong.
