poem_234_I_Forgive_Him

I still love you

I just wish you hadn't lied

To try and save my hurt

When in the end I still cried

It did no better now

That I know what was true

Why you really broke it off

Instead of letting's go through

Because here in the end

As we try to resolve

I feel that our chance

Will never evolve

But in my kind effort

I still try to see

Why webs were created

To hide things from me

I can only forgive

Since I must've done wrong

For to create these lies

You had to be strong

For me, for you, for us, for them

I was the one lead to condemn

Author's Notes/Comments:

I actually started working on this quite some months back, but never finished it 'til now. The feelings for said individual aren't there anymore, but the emotional-memory still is, so I felt I could finish in proper art.
