poem_165_Placebo_Effect

I was meant for you

So you keep telling me

I entered your life for a reason

These reasons I do not see

Or is the truth

You long for most

Nothing more than

A shadowing ghost

You wanted this so bad

Someone to remind you of her

Back into your life

To make things all better

You walked in the Clinique

With your head full of advise

You just happened to meet me

And took it to your suffice

I’m just a sugar pill

That’s all I’ll ever be

That’s all I ever was

When YOU came to me

I can’t be anything more

Because I’m nothing right now

So what has you so fixated

Or question better yet, how?
