Together forever,

Through sickness and health,

In sunshine or rain weather,

And poor finance or wealth.

The marriage consummation was commenced.

The pregnancy they wished was successful.

Something was wrong as the young women sensed.

And having this as well as a child became stressful.

Although married happily to each other,

An idealistic marriage to all,

And becoming a father and mother,

It was unfortunate to take a fall.

Their love for each other grew,

As well as the family they started.

With upcoming changes to go through,

They had unexpectedly departed.

While shopping for baby clothes one day,

There was a shoot out and the husband was shot.

The wife running to him not knowing what to say,

Watched her husband try and speak the words he fought.

Moments passed by as he told her of his last request.

He wanted the baby to use his clothes as dress or cover,

So that his memory would be there impressed.

Then soon the truth of his death would uncover.

Muffled though the words he spoke,

He gurgled, “Now death has done us part”.

With that, the silence broke,

As she screamed with her broken heart.

He told her he would be sending down a baby boy.

He wanted her to still have a part of him after he passed.

They shared a passionate kiss for something to enjoy,

And the breath for the kiss was then his last.

Together forever.

Till death do them part,

And the vow however,

Pulled them apart.
