poem_066_First_Kiss

Driving home together, we were just two teens.

His arms were warmly wrapped around mine.

He was wearing his newly bought blue jeans,

While I wore a lipstick the color of peach wine.

I turned looking to him.

The moment just right.

His hand placed gently upon my cheek.

My body filled with excite.

His previous hints were noticed.

I felt ready to be embraced.

I looked into his eyes and smiled.

My lips were slowly placed.

Such a soft touch.

Such a soft kiss.

Such a moment made.

Were the world didn’t exists.

My mind forgot all worry.

My heart filled with longing joy.

My lips, a mind of their own.

As I sat there kissing this boy.

Not a single movement was wrong.

Not a single sound was heard.

He and I the only two people.

Neither one of us disturbed.

Time slowed like watched clock.

Yet only seconds flew by.

The kiss was my first.

And it was with a good guy.
