poem_019_The_Broken_Vow

Here it all starts as you walk in the room

With one or three drops in your champagne

Paralyzation in the glass you consume

Your body can’t move but your nerves feel the pain

“Till death do us part” a vow to be a faithful groom

But you broke the vow so your life I drain

You see my dark side has come into loom

And you’re attached with a ball and chain

Now our home and my hearts your tomb

Here you shall lay until completely slain

Because forever you said you were mine!

I can feel my insides twisting and turning

As I watch you lie upon the ground

I can feel my heart ripping and burning

Listening to you not make a sound

Your love for me is what I was yearning

Your love for me was mistakenly confound

From your careless actions I’m finally learning

How loves emotion is queerly profound

No longer will you leave and be returning

After you go off and fool around

And forever you shall be mine!

Hun, your hair is so soft but your skin is so cold

I can still see the passion in your eyes

The shinning specks of glittery gold

Seem to disappear as you say your goodbyes

It’s sad how your secrets began to unfold

And you felt a need for a disguise

When I asked your friends they always told

They knew better than to hide your lies

Unfortunately within my conscience I consoled

And now I will make your demise

Now even in death you will be mine!
