poem_009_Just_Say_Those_Three_Little_Words_edited

We met each other once; you couldn’t say it then

Now I’m wondering where it will happen as well as when

I think about it day and Night. I wonder how it’ll be

I wait patiently for that day to come when you’ll say it to me

When it happens I’ll answer fast

And wonder how long the moment will last

We’ll hold each other close forgetting our despair

You gently running your fingers through my black hair

I’ll say it more to you

And finally we’ll know our love is true

I hope it’s something you won’t subdue

So please say to me, “I love you”

Author's Notes/Comments:

The edited version was created so that way my parents when they looked for some poems I'd place this in there and I wouldn't get caught lol. During this earlier time I was showing my poems to my parents so I created a generic of this because I do feel it is a good poem but the last two lines wouldn't have flown well with them lol
