The battle is real, the attack intense
Open your eyes, now’s not the time to straddle the fence
See, BUT Christ
Holdfast to the vision, keep it plain in your sight
Resist temptation with all your might
Remember, BUT Christ
No matter the pain of remaining in His will
What you bleed is not what sealed the deal
BUT Christ
Recall how Christ shed all of His blood
Nailed transgression to the cross with a thud!
So say to your flesh you have no dominion in me
Being humble gives you authority and the enemy must flee
Pick up the sword, raise high the shield
It’s the Word of God plus faith that you must wield
Don’t stop, quit or retreat
The enemy will once again taste defeat
Go ahead lean back, then laugh in His face
He is the one using dulled weapons and will be disgraced
Didn’t he learn when Christ made a public spectacle of him?
Disarming principalities and powers, in Christ we triumph over all of them
Your position is powerful, have the courage to see
Open your mouth, declare victory
Even if doubt or fear try to creep in
Be rooted in Truth and you will win
Recall, But Christ In you means you’re dead, but alive
Manifesting His light, so those around you will thrive
