Sneak Away

Folder:
2009 Poems

She's just a rebel baby

That is what they always say

They can't describe

The odd and peculiar things she does

So they cover it with labels,

To box in the lies

They'd like to lock her up

and throw away the key

Is that logical?

She's different,

but not a maniac

No matter how often they throw those lines,

She'll never give in

No, not that easily

They'll have to catch her fast

and they are too oblivious to watch her

sneak away
