Forever used to be our thing

We used to talk about how our love would last

and even after we left this earth, it would still be going strong

because true love lasts for eternity...

           but, I am not your true love

I have sacrificed,

Always did everything for you that I could

You became the most important thing in my life

and still, I am just second best...

           Second best would not be so bad,

If your eyes could glow for me,

Like they always did for her

Maybe if you acted like you wanted only me,

There would not be so much doubt...

           But there is doubt

and it constantly haunts me

I dont want to fear everyday

That you are going to change your mind

You have before,

So I know your capabilities...

         and in all honesty, it feels like you have already changed your mind...
