I don’t want to die inside

I want to breathe every breath

Until I have to say goodbye

I want to live until the very end

I don’t want to cry anymore tears

I want to smile and feel alright

Face my nightmares without fear

Sleep all the way through the night

And when the demons come to haunt me,

I’ll stare right back into their face

They may leave me scared and shaking,

But they won’t take me from this place

When then night is cold and lonely,

I’ll wrap up inside this blanket, and remember thoughts of you

That will be enough to keep me warm,

Until the time for us to be together again comes passing through
