We were suppposed to go out to a movie

Together we planned to spend some time

but after the first time we spent with each other

I guess that one of us changed our mind



You said you could be all that I hoped for

That you could be the man of my dreams

but as we both know those all can change

As well our minds must have rearranged



I told you I could be anything you wanted

or I could make your every wish come true

but I guess I was not at all what you hoped for

because your mind said you wanted nothing more



We have been friends for a while

and we wanted to see if we had a chance to shine

but we did not work out as more than friends

Guess somehow we changed our minds
