The sun fades and the world turns to cold

When you are not in my life to  have to hold

I awaken to a foggy day

Without you I walk within a daze

and I can't tell days from weeks to years

Time just goes on forever

With nothing to look forward to

Just a life full of hues

of greys and blues

and once you walk out the door,

I am so lost and confused

Without you I feel that there is no use

Why go on breathing

When I am merely living

a lie without you

The sun fades and the clouds disappear

Time means nothing to this heart that is broken

and full of fear
