Did you understand the letters in the letter sent to you

Reminding you to remember that we are through

My love for you was shipwrecked and in the ship that drowned

Burned your heart inside out when that kerosene you downed



Whispering in the dark all your secrets that you try to hide

But just because it is dark does not mean the ability to hear has died

Looking for angels but they are hidden

Keep on searching because their location will never be given



You can close your eyes and dream but you cant dream while they are open

You can say whatever you choose but you cant speak without words being spoken

If dreams and hopes are intangible, how can they be broken

You can see through my lies but you cant look me in the eyes

You can say you hear my cries but you cant even see my tears



What is real in this world of insanity

We are still slaves and victims, chained and never free

We try to make it big but only fall behind

Try to live live but for our time to die



Lets get back to us, to me and you

Forget the letters inside the letter addressed saying we are through

Lets rekindle the fire, the ashes still leave their mark

Hold my hands again and let me hold your heart
