they do consume
they bleed you dry
like the wounds
they leave you living in fear
crying all these evenescent tears
tainted and tattered
million pieces shattered
the ashes, they did scatter
you walked away, but what does it matter?
Memories only leave a person sadder
Day by day the pain makes you madder
Scared to take chances
scared of the romances
only to be left alone
and abandoned once again
the memories sting with an unknown pain
you take it in all in vain
and let the gaping hole remain
The shame,
it is overwhelming
memories leave you hollow inside
can't find any where safe to hide
Ignorant and blind,
the memories come undone
Crowned hopeless
is the mess that i have become
