His name is Misery
and for some reason,
he has befriended me
leaving pain at my door
closing the window
to every hope of finding peace
he is an evil little hell
but he fits in so well
black and cold as night
i am so frightened,
i need light
misery chases away all my dreams
and all of my goals
makes it hard to see
what is real and what is not
such an evil beauty
bringing along torture and pain'
he stabs me in the side
i run but i got nowhere to hide
misery always catches me
i am never safe
