To my letter crew and the alphabet gang

Please allow me to be PC

My LGBTQIA+ crew

I L-O-V-E you

The world wants me to pick a side

They want hate to get the best of our lives

They want to harm you especially for trying to be free

But I didn’t come here to talk about them

I speak to all those who still operate in love

Who don’t hold you above standards that we set for ourselves

I stand by your flamboyancy, your quirks

The things that make you queer

My dears, I stand with you

You are loved because you come from love

We all do

I won’t allow anyone to practice hatred, ignorance and fear in my presence

Let your colorful representation fly high

Add as many letters as your inclusion sees fit

Until the world sheds their mindset

I don’t want to forget

You are loved.
