your heart lies still

Like my mind when I don't try to think of you.

 I try to recreate a life without hate, without doubt.

A life that we were when we both loved and the thought of betrayal didn't brew.

Both our minds were powerless to the doubt and hate that led to our fate.

Failure.

I miss you. And you never knew. Never will.  The love I have for you,... It won't ever die or hide.

You were my one and only, so sad that's the end of our story.
