My Love Has Faded

I saw the mighty sequoia....

When they were merely,

Red Woods.

Flew over oceans,..... alone.

Sought love,... and stability.

Surfed.... a street car in frisco.

I saw...... California dreaming ,

when I was eight  !

Travelled the world, and....

Followed the sun.

Met dreams.... I'd wished for .

All my adult life.

And now they're gone.

To grey ... And obscurity .
